Friday, we all read the headlines about the death of Jett Travolta.As with all celebrity stories, it was only a matter of time before someone, somewhere, began to go after this family in mourning. It is an unfortunate reality that the paparazzi tend to have this obsession with trying to out any and every gay or lesbian celebrity in the country, most often to sell papers.

On Christmas Day a new war began between Israel and Hamas and 2008 quite literally ended with a bang as the Israel's Defense Forces pounded Hamas positions in Gaza. Hamas has launched thousands of rockets into Israel, and killed innocent men, women and children. This is what Israel says this war started over. Right now thousands of Israeli troops backed by tanks and helicopter gun ships are surrounding Gaza's largest city.
